The height and weight of rider will determine the make and size of the electric bike. For people below 250 pounds, using lightweight electric scooters will do. For people around 400 pounds, there are heavyweight types that will suit that range. Height of rider also matters. People under 5’5” should consider scooters with overall length of 42 inches or less. They provide better maneuverability that will allow the rider to go smoothly around furniture inside the house. They are also easier to handle and much lighter. If you plan on taking your scooter outdoors, buy four-wheeled electric scooters. They go well with rough surfaces of the outdoors and are much sturdier.
